No harmful chemicals or vapors such as ozone or mercury which can be found in some cpap cleaners. No filters or required maintenance as some units require. No downtime when your product is clean. Simply remove from the unit and your product is ready for use. The Paptizer Smart CPAP Sanitizer from Liviliti Health Products uses 40 High power medical grade UV-C LED’s. Multiple research studies and reports show when biological organisms are exposed to deep UV light in the range of 200nm to 290nm it is absorbed by DNA, RNA and proteins. Absorption by proteins leads to the rupture of cell walls and death of the organism. Absorption by DNA or RNA is known to cause inactivation of the DNA or RNA double helix strands through the formation of thymine dimers. When enough of these dimmers are created the DNA replication process is interrupted and the cell cannot replicate. There are NO known UVC resistant germs.

Q Can the Liviliti Paptizer sanitize CPAP hose/tubing?
A The Liviliti Paptizer Smart CPAP Sanitizer cannot clean the following tubing:

Q Can I stop washing my equipment if I use a sanitizer?
A No. Continue to follow the manufacturer's directions for cleaning your product. Sanitizers do not remove dead skin, oil, makeup, or other organic materials.
Q If I wash my equipment does it have to be completely dry before sanitizing?
A It is recommended for the greatest results for the equipment to be dry.
Q Is there a smell from using sanitizer?
A Yes, there can be a slight smell to using any sanitizing product. To reduce and eliminate any smells make sure the mask is clean of any debris before sanitizing. If a smell continues, wash the mask with a cleaner such as a perfume free soap and set machine to Sanitize and Smart Dry application to remove smell.
Q Is the Liviliti Paptizer safe to use?
A Yes, it is equipped with an automatic shut off when the lid is opened.
Q Can I use my phone in the Liviliti Paptizer?

Q "What is "UV-C" or Ultraviolet C?
A Commonly referred to as "germicidal" , UVC's are a subtype of Ultraviolet lights that are naturally occurring from the sun, most often absorbed by the atmosphere/ Ozone layer. There are artificial sources of UV-C used by people for multiple purposes, one of them being sanitizing medical equipment!
Q Why are UVC LEDs also called germicidal lamps?
A They can destroy, kill, or inactivate many kinds of germs and microorganisms. This makes these lights quite useful in killing and stopping the spread of bacteria in water, surfaces, and air.
Q How exactly does the UV-C light kill germs?
A When you expose a microorganism to UVC lamps, the light will penetrate through the [germ] cell wall and alter or disrupt the [germ] cell's DNA. When this process occurs the [germ] cell's growth and reproduction stops, stopping its ability to spread.
