Welcome to the new ResMed AirSense™ 11 Auto CPAP, designed with the CPAP user in mind. The new AirSense™ 11 from ResMed has everything that you have loved about previous models but with enhanced features and a sleek new look. Looking towards the future with advancement in technology and efficiency, touchscreen controls have been introduced and replace the cumbersome knobs and buttons. Simply tap the screen to start and stop your Sleep Apnea therapy as well as adjust comfort with features like Auto Ramp, Smart Start & Stop, EPR, Climate Control and Mask Fit.
Another feature which has been introduced is the new AutoSet™ Algorithm which is an enhanced feature. This additional mode was designed with female users in mind. The AutoSet™ Algorithm accounts for the differences in how OSA (Obstructive Sleep Apnea) is shown in women for a more select sleep therapy. But don’t fear this is one of three sleep therapy settings.
The upgraded AirSense™ 11 power cord securely attaches with a USB port so there are no more loose or wobbly power cords. Even the filter got upgraded. The disposable filter now only needs to be replaced every 6 months (unless it appears dirty upon inspection.) And as always, the filters are available in standard or hypo-allergenic variants.
The AirSense™ 11 also has an over-the-air upgrade capability that gives you the opportunity to directly receive maintenance and feature updates without even having to move your device! Q: Can I use my ResMed AirSense™ 11 without water?
A: The ResMed Airsense™ 11 will work without water in the humidifier tub but you'll need to insert it into the device and turn humidification off in the My Options menu. If you don't want to use the humidifier, you'll need to insert a side cover into the device to continue with normal operation. However, for the best possible therapy experience, we suggest using the humidifer with high quality distilled water.
Q: What is the water chamber (water tub) capacity of the AirSense™ 11?
A: The AirSense™ 11 water chamber capacity is 380 mL (12.84 oz.).
Q: Should I change the water in my CPAP every night?
A: You must refill your water humidification chamber daily with high quality distilled water, whether it's for humidifying or for cleaning. Also, please make sure to never reuse the water, as it can possibly breed microorganisms and bacteria that could make you sick when using your CPAP.
Q: Is the AirSense™ 11 Bluetooth compatible?
A: Yes
Q: Is the AirSense 11 able to connect to an app?
A: Yes. This CPAP device connects to the myAir™ app which is available for download from the Google PlayStore for Android devices and from the Apple Appstore for iOS devices.
Q: Does the purchase of the ResMed AirSense™ 11 require a prescription?
