The breathable, non-allergenic mask is comfortable—and it eliminates leaks, pressure points, sore spots, and pinching. The Advance Headgear is also made of soft cloth that’s easy to fit for a comfortable night’s sleep. The 3-Point headgear design allows 4” of sizing on each side and on the top, so it can fit any size head. The soft but durable forehead and neck material pulls heat and moisture away from the skin. It's “loose fit” prevents strap marks, and the open-face headgear design accommodates eyeglasses and allows virtually unrestricted vision. FAQ's
Q Can the headgear for each SleepWeaver mask be used with other SleepWeaver products?
A No. Each SleepWeaver headgear is specific to its mask and it cannot be interchanged.
Q Does the SleepWeaver Advance address the problems of people who have skin reactions to plastic masks?
AThe SleepWeaver Advance All Cloth PAP Mask is gentle on the skin. We have had a number of patient’s report that their skin irritation problems disappeared after switching to a SleepWeaver.
Q Can I sleep on my stomach while wearing the SleepWeaver Advance?
A Yes. The air pressure in the mask will keep the mask inflated without pressure points. The mask continues to provide CO2 exhalation as long as a portion of the exhalation holes are exposed.
Q How Do I clean the SleepWeaver Advance Mask?
AThe mask can be cleaned by hand washing or in a machine using mild non-abrasive detergent in cold or warm water. Be sure to rinse the mask well after washing. *HANG DRY ONLY (Do NOT dry Mask in Dryer)
Q Does the SleepWeaver Advance have an exhalation valve?
AThe exhalation “valve” on the SleepWeaver is a series of very small holes that gently and quietly exhaust the exhaled air from the mask. These holes provide quiet operation without creating a jet of air that make a lot of noise or can blow on the patient’s bed partner. The leak rate provided by the exhalation holes is comparable to competitive PAP masks.
