A: This answer varies. Typically, you will want to change your tubing every 3-6 months. With that being said, it can be much shorter based on your usage and your health. If you use oxygen for more than a few hours a day, you will want to change out tubing at least every 2-5 months. If you notice cracking or feel like the tubing is becoming brittle, then you should change out immediately.
Q: How do I clean the Sun Med Salter Labs® Oxygen Tubing?
A: You want to clean your tubing at least 1 time per week. If you are sick, we highly recommend cleaning more frequently than that and replacing once you are feeling better.
Cleaning is simple, once a week use a vinegar and water solution (1:1 ratio) to clean the tubing then rinse clean with hot water and air dry.
